I recently registered with TradeDoubler but I am not able to login.

After you complete the sign-up registration form on the TradeDoubler site you must click on the activation link sent to your email account within 24 hours of completing the application. If did you did not activate your account within the required time period you will need to re-register.

If you are still unable to login please ensure that you are not blocking the TradeDoubler cookie. To do this please add the TradeDoubler domain (www.tradedoubler.com)to your safe zone / trusted sites for Internet Explorer, your firewall and possibly any anti-virus or ad-blocking software you are running.

Additionally contact your software vendor or consult the manual to setup the correct permissions for the TradeDoubler cookie.

If you are still unable to login with the details in the welcome email, we will create an account for you. Please send an email to your local/regional support office and provide us with the necessary information that is requested within the sign-up form (from all of the steps). When we have created an account for you we will notify you of your new account details, please change your password to ensure the security of your account.

How do I adjust my web browser settings to accept the TradeDoubler cookie?

For instructions on enabling your web browser to accept cookies, please follow the steps described that match your web browser software.

Internet Explorer 6.0+ / Internet Explorer 7.0 for Windows
  1. In the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Go to the Privacy tab
  3. Set the privacy to Medium
  4. Press OK
Internet Explorer 5.x for Windows
  1. In the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Go to the Security tab
  3. Press Custom Level.
  4. Scroll down to the Cookies options
  5. Enable "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer"
  6. Enable "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)"
  7. Press OK and Yes to save the settings
  8. Press OK
Internet Explorer for Mac
  1. In the Explorer menu, select Preferences. (for versions 5.0 and under, it in the Edit menu)
  2. Go to the Receiving Files, then Cookies category
  3. Make sure the "When receiving cookies" is set to Never ask
  4. Press OK
Mozilla Firefox or Netscape 7.2 for Windows
  1. In the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Click on Privacy, then Cookies
  3. Make sure that "Allow sites to set cookie" is checked and that "for the originating web site only" is not checked
  4. Press OK
Mozilla or Netscape 7.0 for Windows
  1. In the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click on Privacy & Security
  3. Click on Cookies
  4. Select Allow all cookies
  5. Press OK
Netscape 8.0 for Windows
  1. In the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Click on Site Controls
  3. Make sure that "Allow cookies" is checked
  4. Press OK
AOL 9.0 for Windows
  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Internet [Web] Options
  3. Select Use your Internet Explorer Settings to set advanced browser options.
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Set the privacy to Medium
  6. Press OK
AOL 7.0 or AOL 8.0 for Windows
  1. From the AOL Toolbar, select Settings.
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Select Internet Properties (WWW)
  4. Select the Privacy tab
  5. Set the privacy to Medium
  6. Press OK
Safari for Mac
  1. In the Safari menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click on Security
  3. Make sure that Accept Cookies is set to Always
  4. Close the window
Mozilla Firefox for Mac
  1. In the Firefox menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click on Privacy, then Cookies
  3. Make sure that "Allow sites to set cookie" is checked
  4. Press OK
Netscape for Mac
  1. In the Netscape menu, select Preferences.
  2. Go to the Privacy & Security, then Cookies category (for Netscape 6.0, it is in the Advanced section)
  3. Make sure that "Allow all cookies" is checked
  4. Press OK
Opera for Windows
  1. In the Files menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click on Privacy
  3. In the Cookies section, make sure that the options "Automatically accept all cookies" and "Accept from any servers" are selected.
  4. Press OK

How do I add the TradeDoubler domain to Internet Explorer 6.0+ (Windows) as a safe zone / trusted sites?

Open Internet Explorer, select Tools >> Internet Options. In the pop-up window that appears select the Privacy tab >> choose the Sites button. In the field "Address of Web site" enter "www.tradedoubler.com" and then click the Allow button. Click Ok to exit.

I have registered with TradeDoubler but I did not receive a welcome email?

If you are using a free web-based email provider such as AOL or Hotmail please check your Junk mail folder. Other steps you should take are:
  • Ensure that your 'inbox' is not full.
  • Add the "TradeDoubler.com " domain to your e-mail 'safe list'/'white lists' in your email software.
  • Check that you have entered the email address in the sign-up form correctly.
  • Contact your technical support to check that you do not have any email 'rules' or internal SPAM filters which could prevent the TradeDoubler email being delivered.
  • As a final step please contact your local/regional TradeDoubler support office: http://www.tradedoubler.com/pan/public/contact.

When I try to login, the system informs me that I have been inactive too long, redirects to the login screen or asks me to enter information I have already provided?

It sounds like you might be blocking the TradeDoubler cookie. Typically 3rd party applications such as Norton's Internet Security, Zone Alarm, PAL Evidence Eliminator, BT Yahoo Browser or other firewall/privacy protection software cause this.

Please add the TradeDoubler domain (www.tradedoubler.com)to your safe zone / trusted sites for Internet Explorer, your firewall and possibly any anti-virus or ad-blocking software you are running.

I have forgotten my password, can I reset it?

If you have entered an incorrect username and password please click on the link "forgotten your password?" Enter your registered email address in the pop-up window and click "submit".

An email will be sent to your registered email account, the link to reset your password will only be active for 24 hours and will only work on once.

After you click the link in the email you will be redirected to a page where you can create a new password in order to be able to login. Please note the password must be more that 7 characters and is case sensitive.

I have forgotten my password and requested it to be reset but I have not received the email?

Please note that it can take a few minutes for this email to arrive. If it has not arrived please attempt to request a new password reminder by clicking on the link "Reset your password" again.

Please contact Support at support.uk@tradedoubler.com, including your username, website, Postcode and telephone number that you registered your account with.

I cannot sign up. I cannot get passed the 'type of organisation' page.

If you cannot get passed the first page (type of organisation) this means you are blocking the TradeDoubler cookies.

Please enable your Internet browser to accept TradeDoubler cookie. Please note, this cookie may also be blocked by 3rd party applications such as Nortons Internet Security or other firewall/privacy protection software. Please contact your software vendor or consult the manual to setup the correct permissions for the TradeDoubler cookie. Once you have changed these settings please try again.

Can I change my username?

To reset your password, login to your TradeDoubler account, click on the menu link SETTINGS >> Account Information, choose the tab "change username ".
